Do you store my PDFs?

For most tools — Open, Annotate, Create, Sign, Fill Form, Convert, Merge, Compress, Privacy Signature — your files are processed entirely inside your browser and never reach our servers.

AI Chat and AI Translate send only the extracted text of your document to our AI endpoint for processing. The original PDF stays on your device. Secure Transfer uploads an encrypted ciphertext — we can't decrypt it.

I forgot my Secure Transfer passphrase — can you recover the file?

No. Secure Transfer uses client-side encryption: the encryption key is derived from the passphrase in your browser and lives only in the share URL fragment. We never see it, so we physically cannot decrypt the file.

If you've lost the passphrase, you'll need to re-upload the original file and generate a new link.

I hit my free AI quota — how do I upgrade?

Free accounts include 10 AI operations total (AI Chat + AI Translate combined). Pro unlocks 250 operations / month and Pro Plus offers higher limits.

Open the app, click Get Pro in the sidebar, and pick a plan. Upgrades are active immediately.

How do I sign out or delete my account?

Open the workspace → Account in the sidebar → Sign out. To delete your account, email us at info@webdesign9.com with the address you signed up with and we'll wipe it within 24 hours (weekdays).

Account deletion is permanent and cancels any active subscription immediately.

A tool failed or won't open my file — what should I do?

Try these first:

1. Refresh the tab and retry. Some failures are transient.
2. Check if the PDF is password-protected or corrupted — download it again from the original source.
3. Try the same file in a different browser (Chrome works best).

Still broken? Email us with the tool name, file size, browser, and any error message you saw. We'll take a look.

Can I request a refund?

Yes. If you're unhappy with Pro or Pro Plus within 14 days of purchase, email info@webdesign9.com from your account email and we'll refund the last charge. Outside that window, cancellations stop future renewals but past months aren't refunded. See Terms of Use for details.

Do you offer team or enterprise plans?

We don't have a self-serve team plan yet, but we're happy to set up volume billing and shared quotas on request. Email us with your team size and tools you need — we'll send a quote.

How do I report a security issue?

Email info@webdesign9.com with "SECURITY" in the subject line and a description (or proof-of-concept). We take responsible-disclosure seriously — please don't post exploits publicly before we've patched. Credit given on request.

Is there a mobile app?

Not a native app — but pdfpro.tools is fully responsive and runs every tool inside the mobile browser. You can also install it as a PWA (Add to Home Screen) for an app-like experience.
